A Trip Through Time, Fantasy And Visual Trickery With Art In Paradise

Art in paradise

Make a trip to visit Pattaya in Thailand and discover this quaint not so little museum that specializes in the art of visual trickery. It is the only museum also art gallery of its kind in the world. The Art in Paradise museum was conceptualized with the help of a Korean technical art team and panel of businessmen who wanted to bring to the world the concept of visual trick art very similar to those that you may have come across at one time or another where a picture seems to jump out at you if you look closer or from a distance. Based on the same principles, this group of artist have managed to capture the essence of visual trick art and integrated it with some really fun pictures of sceneries, themes and even old art work.

Art In Paradise

Located at places of interest within walking distance of Walking Street and Pattaya Road it is easily accessible by car, tuk tuk or motorbike taxi and just a stone throw away from Tiffany’s Cabaret and Alacazar Theatre. The must have here is a camera as that is the basis of this museum/art gallery, other than that is a great imagination and a flexible posture for posing! Though there are some classical paintings in here but the characteristics of the paintings are far beyond classical. There are a lot of tongue-in-cheek depictions of the old classics and you can have great fun making a complete mockery or classical pose of yourself here, so it is basically a personal preference. There are a whopping 8 zones to choose from and each has its own quirkiness in artwork. This particular tour package in Pattaya is a highly visual one and very different from the usual sightseeing packages in Pattaya  and it is a visit where you get back something in the form of pictorial memories that are exciting and unusual of your visit. Sharing these pictures out on your personal blog sites or social sites would definitely make for an interesting conversation piece!

There are some great masterpieces in here such as in the Dinosaur Hall where you can interact with the paintings in really dramatic poses. Run away from a chasing T-Rex or fight of a pterodactyl, depending on your pose posture it might even be whimsical and for sure it would be an interesting place for those travelling with older children as a way to vent off their energy! In the Aqua Hall there is a great picture of a ferocious open mouthed shark, now try posing in front of that picture! If you want something more docile, try kissing a dolphin that practically jumps out of the scene or boast of an awesome marlin catch! In the Egyptian Hall, play the role of an explorer and seemingly climb out of deep pits or venture off into some forbidden zone deep in the ruins of Egypt. Pull a jaguar’s tail or feed a giraffe, or else have a rhino kick you in the butt in the Animal Zone! Paint the Mona Lisa or fire Cupid’s arrow in the Classical Hall, it is all up to your imagination how you interact with the paintings and the most dramatic poses would be those you are not shy to pose for in front of the picture!

So when you drop by Pattaya, make sure to include the Art in Paradise museum as part of your tour itinerary for Pattaya. You can spend almost a full day there being your own super model and enjoying the limelight in front of the camera!
